Counselling should never feel intimidating.
From the moment we meet, my aim is to create a calm, welcoming space where you can simply be yourself. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to know exactly what to say. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, navigating relationship challenges or simply carrying more than you should on your own, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.
My role isn't to judge you or tell you what you should do. It's to listen, help you make sense of what's been happening and support you in finding practical ways to move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

People often ask why I chose counselling, and the answer is actually quite simple.
I've always been drawn to helping people feel heard, understood and supported through life's challenges. Over the years, I've seen how much people carry quietly while continuing to show up for their families, their work and everyone around them. I wanted to create a space where people could put those expectations down for a while and simply be themselves.
Today, Townsville Counselling & Wellness allows me to do exactly that - offering practical, compassionate support to people as they navigate the seasons of life that feel overwhelming, uncertain or difficult.

I support women, men, individuals and couples across Townsville and Australia through private, in-home and online counselling.

Your first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know each other.
We'll talk about what's been happening, what has brought you to counselling and what you're hoping to achieve. There's no pressure to share everything at once, and you don't need to prepare or have the right words before you arrive.
Counselling is a collaborative process, which means we'll work together to find an approach that feels right for you. My priority is helping you leave your first session feeling comfortable, understood and confident that you've taken an important first step.
